Members

Our members - New Zealand’s electricity distribution companies - are important infrastructure providers. They distribute electricity to more than 2.2 million homes, businesses and farms. The combined value of the country’s electricity network businesses is more than $14 billion.

With over 9,200 employees in total, the electricity sector is a significant employer, especially in regional areas. Distribution companies are strong supporters of their local communities through sponsorships and grants. All electricity distributors are members of the ENA. Electricity Networks Aotearoa represents a membership of 27 electricity lines companies.
